Performance Framework, which has three aspects:
• Action plans: which will consist of a number of actions or
changes to be brought about in the Partnership area
• A Report to the Public: to report progress on achieving the
outcomes in the local community plan to the general public in an
accessible way.
• Partnership Scorecard: to demonstrate partnership activity
undertaken by the NP contributes to the strategic themes laid out
in the SOA.

Public health information shows that people in the area, particularly
Craigmillar, suffer the worst levels of health inequality in the city. We also
know people feel better when they have good networks of support from
family and friends and services when they need them. The Health &
Wellbeing sub group works to improve services to the most vulnerable by:
Ensuring people are properly supported, by services working together, to
address the multiple problems they may be facing
Ensuring the best access to support and recovery from misuse of alcohol
and drugs, mental health problems and domestic violence
Ensuring young people have the full range of advice and support available
when they face issues of emotional and sexual health, or choices over
smoking, alcohol and drugs
Ensuring people have effective help with mental health problems
It also promotes activities which help people stay well through building
social networks; connectedness in the community; healthy eating and
physical activity.
