The 10 cities project

In the summer of 2014 we officially launched the LFHW
campaign in 10 cities in the UK.

18 month project – Waste Composition Analysis at the
beginning and again at the end.

The Central England Co-operative, Birmingham City
Council and Love Food Hate Waste working together to
make a real difference to the amount of food that goes to
waste daily from our homes
What’s happening in Birmingham?
 In January the Central England Co-operative and
the Birmingham City Council are running a Love
Food Hate Waste Month
.
 Free Cookery Classes are being held from April
2015
 Free cascade training on Love Food Hate Waste
Aims for this evening
• To provide free training to groups, organisations in
businesses in Birmingham over the next 18 months
• Think about how we can work together to reach the people
who need our training the most
• Think about what we all can you do to help reduce food
waste in Birmingham
