Low Working Temperature
 All of the electrolyte is made in house at SIC-SAFCO.
 Solvents used are mixed with ionic compounds to reach the lowest
freezing point. SIC-SAFCO is able today to offer electrolyte freezing at
lower than -60°C (-76°F) for each capacitor even with different rated
voltages from 10V to 630V.
 This point is particularly important for airborne applications
outside of pressured areas, where the outside temperature is often 60°C. Capacitors with climatic category -40°C or -25°C can work at 60°C but the problem appears when the equipment is coming back to
ground level. Electrolyte can still contain frozen particles. These
frozen particles are weak points leading to possible voltage
breakdown.
 SIC-SAFCO capacitors with climatic categories -55°C do not have
this weakness and can be used even with many repetitive quick
changes of altitude (Fighter Aircrafts).
