Practical Information
Outstanding Ofsted October 2008
Students meet their form tutor in the school hall.
The form tutor will take the students to their form room.
 During the first morning students will be given a printed timetable,
a student planner, homework timetable and allocated a locker.
 During the morning students will probably complete an activity
which tells their form tutor about their interests, strengths, talents, as
well as what they find difficult.
Students will be informed about lunch-time arrangements, taken to
the Dinning room and will view the menu offered for food and drink.
At some point in the day students will have a tour of the school
where various areas will be shown to them, eg. the toilets, medical
room, PE/ Dance/ Drama changing areas, Staffroom, Library.

A pencil case containing: pens, pencil, ruler, rubber, highlighter, coloured pencils, pencil
sharpener
Dinner money or packed lunch
