The United States of America or just the USA is the country with
its own history, culture and traditions. Each country has its own
official symbols. American people are proud of their country.

olive branch,
13 stripes
and 13 stars.

“THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER” is the national
anthem of the United States. The lyrics come from a
poem written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key.




The President is elected
by American people on
Election Day – the
Tuesday after the first
Monday in November of
every fourth year.
The next elections will be

The Statue
of Liberty

a universal symbol

freedom
and
democracy.
