required “A-G” subjects, with at least 11 subjects completed
by the end of their Junior year:
• 1 year of History/Social Science

• 1 year of Laboratory Science
• 1 year of Language other than English
• 4 years chosen from among the remaining “a-g”

 PSAT/NMSQT is offered one time a year in October.
 Tentative 2015 date: Wednesday, October 14th
 Juniors are strongly encouraged to take the test due to the
National Merit Scholarship Qualification possibility.
 PSAT shows a students strengths and weaknesses in certain areas
that are similar on the SAT College Entrance Exams.
 PSAT is not an indicator of how well a student may do on the
SATs nor used in College Entrance evaluations. It is a primer to
the SATs.

applying to colleges/universities.
