Review TMS Internet policy
You may only work on your
course work and the course
work sites in this class
Remember- County officials can
see what you are doing at all
times- don’t go where you’re not
supposed to go.

You will be working with a
program called Blackboard.
Blackboard is for class
discussions only, no chit-chat,
gossip etc. Your teacher will let
me know if such things are
going on.
Parent/Student Contract
Take contract home and get it
signed

Teacher- You will have different
teachers for the class
Logging In to NCVPS




You have a USER ID and a
Password
You must first log in to the networkUser ID for network is your USERID
number from last year- should be the
same as your Blackboard ID.
Password for network is first 7 letters
of last name(if shorter, add the first
letters of first name to make a total of
7)

Once you are logged on to the
network, click on Internet Explorer
Go to ncvps.org
Scroll down to bottom of the page
Click on Login
Click on Preview
On the next page on the right click
on Student support services
orientation.
Orientation

Look at the left column.
Everyday you will check
announcements.
Then click on Start Here- read
through each folder
After reading, go through the lessons
Take the orientation quiz.
Go back to the login page
Back on Login Page




Pass out ID forms
Put in your Student ID# and
Password
Go to your first lesson.
Lesson 1 must be done by
Friday, August 27, 2010
