• Meet the Teacher – August 18 at 11:00 am – Supplies listed on websites • 1 st Two Weeks – Regular Schedule (7:50 – 11:00) • 1 st Trimester – Each student stays one day a week extended day (7:50 – 1:20) • 2 nd and 3 rd Trimester – Regular Schedule (7:50 – 1:20)

Kindergarten Readiness
• Cut off date for Regular Kindergarten is September 1 st.
Must be 5 on or before September 1 st . • Signs Your Child is Ready – Focus, ability to write and recognize name, social skills, participation in other activities such as preschool • Ways to prepare your child for Kindergarten this summer – Name writing kindergarten way, numbers, letters, sounds, reading, tell stories, limit television watching, share songs and poems, go to the library, go exploring and learn about plants, animals, and local geography, find a quiet place to study and start a routine . . .
Philosophy
• We are a balanced program that meets and exceeds state standards in a developmentally appropriate way while instilling a love of learning and preparing children for the beginning of 1 st grade • Children begin kindergarten at different skill levels. We take the child where they are at, and move them forward towards end of year goals and beyond.
