HONG (NMIJ) (i) Review of CMCs from APMP member NMIs · APMP.TF.8.2010 November 4, 2009 for the CMC from VMI Intra-regional review completed on Jan. 15, 2010 Reviewed comments were received from SIM, AFRIMETS and EURAMET in April 2010. Posted revised CMCs on June 9, 2010. Published the BIPM KCDB on July 20 2010. · APMP.TF.9.2010 April 15, 2010 for the CMC from NPLI Intra-regional review is completed on Oct. 18, 2010. · APMP.TF.10.2010 April 15, 2010 for the CMC from A-Star Intra-regional review is going on 2.2 WG on TWSTFT 2.3 WG on OFM 3. Conferences in the T&F research field 1) CPEM 2010 held in Korea. 2) AP-RASC’10 held for 5 days from September 22, 2010 at Toyama International Conference Center, Toyama, Japan Five sessions as the joint sessions of ATF2010 (Asia Pacific Time and Frequency Workshop). About 580 researchers participated from 29 economies in total. Within the 519 total number of submitted papers, 46 papers related with the time and frequency metrology were presented. 1. TCC meeting, July 2010, Manila Implementation of CIPM MRA Peer reviewers to be instructed by the APMP guidelines to include existing CMCs in the reviews. In the case that an NMI des not submit any CMCs for 5 year, the issue is handled through the QS review mechanism. 2. Strategic Directions for APMP The main focus of APMP should gradually shift towards supporting research, developing of new technologies and new services for industry. Support of DEC activities TC chairs recognise the differences in the development status of APMP's developing economy NMIs (DENs) and try to account for it when developing its activities. 3. Effectiveness of APMP Meetings Mid-year meetings :worth while to have mid-year TCCs meeting.
