SALVATION ARMY TEAM EMERGENCY RADIO NETWORK ORIGINS Began by Carl Lindstrom, W9JSF, over 40 years ago as SAROF – Salvationist Amateur Radio Operators Fellowship Later, SAROF became Salvation Army Radio Operators Fellowship First SATERN Net in June, 1988, following the SAROF Net.

Began as a Regional 40 Meter net based in Chicago, IL Evolved into a national and international net on 20 meters 2
