HISTORY AND MISSION
OF ICRI
• History
– Organized May 21, 1988 in Naperville, IL, as the International
Association of Concrete Repair Specialists.
– Changed to International Concrete Repair Institute in 1993.
• Mission
– The mission of the International Concrete Repair Institute is to be a
leading resource for education and information to improve the quality
of repair, restoration, and protection of concrete and other structures
in accordance with consensus criteria.
• Overall and Underlying Goal
– To improve the quality of concrete repair.

participation.
• Each Committee strives to balance contractors, engineers and
materials suppliers and gather opinions from all sides.
• You are invited to attend any technical or administrative
committees that are of interest to you at any of ICRI’s
conventions.
• You are welcome to apply for technical committee membership
