1 Tim 2:1-4
1 First, I tell you to pray for
all people, asking God for
what they need and being
thankful to him. 2 Pray for
rulers and for all who have
authority so that we can
have quiet and peaceful
lives full of worship and
respect for God.
3 This is good, and it
pleases God our Savior,
4 who wants all people to
be saved and to know the
truth.
Do

“We hold these truths to be self-evident,

are instituted among men, deriving their just
powers from the consent of the governed,
that whenever any form of government
becomes destructive to these ends, it is, the

How To Destroy
America
• Destroy the Biblical role
of gov’t.
1. Re-education of new
generation
2. Make people
dependent (welfare)
3. Erode/destroy
national sovereignty
4. Destroy money,
currency and economy
Money is like manure!

Money
I.
Money is a Medium of Exchange.
According to most economists a medium of exchange traditionally
possessed five (5) characteristics that qualified an item to serve as a
medium.
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
Divisible. Units of money can be divided into smaller units for individual transactions without destroying its
value.
Portable. This refers to the mobility or transportability of the item.
Durable. Money must be able to endure the rigors of constant wear without rapidly diminishing in value.
Recognizable. A medium of exchange must be widely recognized as valuable.
Scarce. Money must be scarce enough to maintain its value in relation to its volume and weight).
II. Money is a Standard of Account.
1.
2.
3.
The shekel in the Old Testament, 11.42 grams of fine (pure) silver,
The talent in the New Testament 22,556 grams of fine gold, and
The dollar in the United States of America 371 ¼ grains of fine silver (~24.1 grams).
III. Money is a Store of Value.
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
Money must consist of an asset with intrinsic value so that it holds its value over time.
It must be as valuable for the son as it was for the father.
Money represents the stored value of time and labor of the worker.
Money allows the worker to "save" his "excess labor'' for future consumption.
If money does not hold its value over time it is equivalent to stealing the time and labor of the worker.
What is One Dollar?
One Dollar is a standard unit of measurement
Money:
371 ¼ grains of Silver minted

Time:

In Suits at common law, where the value in
controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the
right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact
tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in
any Court of the United States, than according to
the rules of the common law.

Congress has the responsibility to regulate the value of all
minted coins to the fixed pure metal Dollar standard
A Bit of History
Silver eight real coin of Carlos and Johanna of Spain, dated
ca. 1544, depicting the Pillars of Hercules on the reverse.
The “Dollar” is a fixed standard
unit of measurement that was
established in 1497 by King
Ferdinand and Queen Isabella
of Spain. It is a minted coin
containing at least 3714/16
grains of fine (pure) Silver.
Silver eight real coin of King Ferdinand VI of Spain, dated 1753.
Silver eight real coin of King Carlos III of Spain, dated 1776.
The Dollar of the Constitution: A
coin containing 371¼ grains of Silver
In 1784 …Thomas Jefferson
said:
“If we determine that a dollar
shall be our unit, we must then
say with precision what a dollar
is." Our founding fathers followed
that advice and in 1792 the dollar
was defined as 371 ¼ grains of
silver. From 1792 until August
15, 1971 the dollar was defined
as a precise weight of either
silver or gold.”
The Dollar (Silver) coin guarantees
citizens a fixed measure of value
The constitutional Dollar – a
minted Coin containing 371 ¼
grains of silver – guarantees
value:

“It is significant that this power of
coining money is mentioned in the
same sentence in the Constitution
as the power to "fix the standards
of weights and measures,“ for the
framers regarded money as a
weight of metal and a measure
of value. Roger Sherman, a
delegate to the Constitutional
Convention, wrote that “If what is
used as a medium of exchange
is fluctuating in its value, it is no
better than unjust weights and
measures…which are
condemned by the Laws of God
and man …".

What is a Federal Reserve Note?
• It is a Private Bank Note
– (It is a promise from the bank to pay real lawful money)
• It is Redeemable for Lawful Money on Demand
– (Pursuant to Title 12 U.S.C. § 411)
• It is NOT Constitutionally Authorized Money
– (Constitution only authorizes gold or silver Coin as Tender in
Payment of Debts within the 50 states of the Union, see Article I

-STATUTEFederal reserve notes, to be issued at the discretion of
the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System
for the purpose of making advances to Federal reserve

set forth and for no other purpose, are authorized. The
said notes shall be obligations of the United States and

Constitutional Requirement
• United States v. Marigold, 50 U.S. (9 How.) 560, 567-568 (1850):
“They [Congress] appertain rather to the execution of an important trust invested by
the Constitution, and to the obligation to fulfill that trust on the part of the government,
namely, the trust and the duty of creating and maintaining a uniform and pure
metallic standard of value throughout the Union. The power of coining money and of
regulating its value was delegated to Congress by the Constitution for the very
purpose, as assigned by the framers of that instrument, of creating and preserving
the uniformity and purity of such standard of value * * *
"If the medium which the government was authorized to create and establish could
immediately be expelled, and substituted by one it had neither created, estimated,
nor authorized one possessing no intrinsic value then the power conferred by the
Constitution would be useless wholly fruitless of every end it was designed to
accomplish. Whatever functions Congress are, by the Constitution, authorized to
perform, they are, when the public good requires it, bound to perform; and on this principle,
having emitted a circulating medium, a standard of value indispensable for the purposes of
the community, and for the action of the government itself, they are accordingly authorized
and bound in duty to prevent its debasement and expulsion, and the destruction of
the general confidence and convenience …."

Constitutionally coined money is a

Most people – even on Wall Street –
mistakenly associate the noun “dollar” with
the Federal Reserve Note (“FRN”) “dollar
bill”, engraved with the portrait of
President George Washington. But no
statute defines, or has ever defined, the
Washington FRN as the “dollar”, or even
as a species of “dollar”. Moreover, the
United States Code provides that FRNs
“shall be redeemed in lawful money on
demand at the Treasury Department of the
United States * * * or at any Federal
Reserve bank”. So FRNs are not
themselves even “lawful money”,
otherwise, they would not be
“redeem[able] in lawful money”. [Vol 1, pg 5]

5. Section 3 of the National Industrial Recovery Act provides that "codes of fair competition," which shall be the " standards of
fair competition" for the trades and industries to which they relate, may be approved by the President upon application of
representative associations of the trades or industries to be affected, or may be prescribed by him on his own motion. Their
provisions are to be enforced by injunctions from the federal courts, and "any violation of any of their provisions in any
transaction in or affecting interstate commerce" is to be deemed an unfair method of competition within the meaning of the
Federal Trade Commission Act, and is to be punished as a crime against the United States. Before approving, the President
is to make certain findings as to the character of the association presenting the code and absence of design to promote
monopoly or oppress small enterprises, and must find that it will "tend to effectuate the policy of this title." Codes permitting
monopolies or monopolistic practices are forbidden. The President may "impose such conditions (including requirements for
the making of reports and the keeping of accounts) for the protection of consumers, competitors, employees and others,
and in the furtherance of the public interest, and may provide such exceptions and exemptions from the provisions of such
code," as he, in his discretion, deems necessary "to effectuate the policy herein declared." A code prescribed by him is to
have the same effect as one approved on application.

In any relation where there are reciprocal blessings,
correspondingly, there are reciprocal duties. The
citizen has duties to the government by reason of
the duties the government owes its citizens. What is
the duty of each is a blessing to the other. Hence,
when either party fails or violates its duty to the
other, it has a decided bearing on the subsequent
duty of the other party to the relationship. This
obtains in all relationships. Consequently, we see
here the expressed recognition of the duty to pay
tribute to the government because the rulers are
attending continually upon this very thing. What
thing? The thing of protecting the innocent and
punishing the guilty. To establish and maintain law
and order to these ends is the basic and divinely
ordained function of civil government, and when it
fails here, any citizen is justified in resenting the
oppression of paying tribute. ... Our forefathers
rebelled against a tyrannical and insensitive
government, and established in this land a
government dedicated to the proposition that its
citizens would be secure in their lives, liberties and
the pursuit of happiness. In guaranteeing the first
two they secured and protected the pursuit of the
latter. And when these are not provided by an alert,
diligent and honest administration of the state, the
happiness of a people is subverted. The
administration of government needs to be changed
to bring- it to its just and proper functions.

were removed from all newly issued Federal Reserve notes. Then, in 1968,
redemption of pre-1963 Federal Reserve notes for gold or silver officially
ended. The Coinage Act of 1965 removed all silver from quarters and dimes,
which were 90% silver prior to the act. However, there was a provision in the
act allowing some coins to contain a 40% silver consistency, such as the
Kennedy Half Dollar. Later, even this provision was removed, and nearly all
coins in general circulation today are 100% clad.

“Too often in recent years, patriotic symbols
have been shunted aside. Our national
heroes have been maligned, our history
distorted. Has it become a disgrace to
pledge allegiance to our flag – or to sign
a loyalty oath, or pay tribute to our national
anthem? Is it shameful to encourage our
children to memorize the stirring words of
’76? Is it becoming opprobrious [contemptuous] to state
“In God We Trust” when proclaiming our love of country?
What we desperately need today is patriotism founded on a
real understanding of the American Ideal – a dedicated
belief in our principles of freedom and a determination to
perpetuate America’s heritage.”

• Supreme Court’s final decision on “Emergencies”
Emergency does not create power. Emergency does not
increase power or remove or diminish the restrictions upon
power granted or reserved. The Constitution was adopted
in a period of grave emergency. Its grants of power to the
Federal Government and its limitations of the power of the
States were determined in the light of emergency and they
are not altered by emergency. Home Building & Loan

Gal 3:27 For as many as were baptized
into Christ, you put on Christ.
The prohibition against making provisions
for the flesh is qualified as relating to the
purpose of fulfilling the lusts of the flesh, the
lust of the eye and the pride of life (1 John
2:16). Therefore striving to secure the
means and arranging the time for such
indulgences is what is forbidden. Providing
for our needs and those who are dependent
on us is a command and a very vital duty
(Eph. 4:28; 1 Tim. 5:8; 2 Thes 3:10)
Contrasted therewith, however, is the need
of putting on the Lord Jesus Christ. One
does this initially when he is baptized into
the name of Christ (Gal. 3:27). Therefore it
requires a real effort to put on Christ by
following His example in our life. To grow
more like Him in character and conduct
should be the highest ambition and most
laudable endeavor of every Christian;
however many and serious be our failings in
such efforts, the effort should always be
made, and by the grace of God success
can be attained.
