Our last accreditation was in 2004 for 5 years program Next accreditation visit will be in 2009 What’s the big deal? We have been accredited before Programs to be accredited in 2009 will have to be based on: O B E Fakulti Kejuruteraan Elektrik OUTCOME-BASED EDUCATION EAC requirement: Programme MUST be outcome-based (OBE) NO OBE = NO ACCREDITATION Of course there are pros and cons of OBE – Googled the words ‘outcome-based education’ and you will see what I mean !
