Review Criteria
● Fit with Tillotson Fund goals and priorities
● Organizational capacity to implement plan
● A clear and achievable plan
● Local community connection/involvement
● Partnerships or coordination with similar
initiatives in the region
Capital Needs Criteria
● A well-developed building plan which includes a
financial plan for capital, operations, and
maintenance
● Diverse mix of financial support for the capital project
and ongoing operations
● Broad base of community support
● Committed staff and/or Board of Directors with the
capacity to implement the plan
Review Process
● Staff review and interviews
- Applicant
- Partners
- Experts in field
● Staff summary and recommendation
● Committee discussion and decision
● Staff debrief with applicants upon request
