quicker from 0-70km/h than a
comparable diesel truck (3t payload).
• A further fuel-saving features include
regenerative braking, saving wear on the
four-wheel disc brakes
TEST RESULTS
• MEASUREMENT METRICS
– Fuel consumption against control
group
– Cost of electrical maintenance.
– Cost of non-electrical maintenance.
– Cost of brake maintenance.
– Instances/impact of operational
benefits.
TEST RESULTS (6,870kms)
• TRIAL - 3 MONTHS:COMPARISON
- CONTROLLED GROUP
– Fuel consumption currently 25% less
per km than the controlled Group
(13.50 l/100km).
– No scheduled maintenance has been
required.
– One vehicle: Rectify a minor fault with
the Hill Start Assist system.
