Learning Objectives
 To be able to explain the meaning of the Creativity of
Allah
 To understand why belief in the Creativity of Allah is
important to Muslims
 To be able to express your opinion on this
Key words
Creativity-The action of creating the universe by Allah
Iman-Faith in Allah
Meaning
It means that the universe and all
humans are under the control of
Allah. It is Allah who determines
whether or not they live or die and
what will happen to you in the
hereafter
Allah’s creativity
Muslims believe in the creativity of Allah and that Allah
created everything in the universe. This follows from the
belief that Allah is One and that there is nothing and noone that can compare with Allah. The idea of the universe
comes from Allah. He is also the one who makes the
universe happen, who creates it and keeps it going. More
importantly for human beings, Allah is also the One who
creates life on the earth with all its many varied forms, all
the different creatures who share the earth with us and all
the laws that control the way we live. All life comes from
Allah.
Muslim Perspective
Muslims do not agree with the idea that the universe and
the earth are just here by chance. All the time scientists
are discovering how the world works. For Muslims, this
means that they are discovering new things about the
creativity of Allah. But not everyone agrees with these
discoveries show that Allah is the creator.
