The utilization of inquiry based standards to drive assignments and assessments will focus students’ efforts on the research and writing experience they need. This is an extremely important factor because teachers can weigh extenuating circumstance, student behavior, motivation level, etc. This allows a teacher to recommend a level up or down from the student’s current level in a subject.
