AT&T Launches…Operation Hand
Salute
Since its inception in 1993, AT&T has been a pioneer and leader
in promoting contracts with Disabled Veteran Business
Enterprises (DVBEs).
In April 2010 the Supplier Diversity team launched a unique
mentoring program called Operation Hand Salute or OHS to
support DVBEs.
The purpose of the program is not only to develop and
promote DVBEs but also to insure that 1.5% of AT&T’s purchase
base are DVBEs and that we help these mentees advance their
business to the next level.
