SAP IBOX Upgrade - August 10th – Aug 13th
 What is happening…
 AVAYA is upgrading the current SAP – IBOX from Version 4.6c to Version 6
 Why is it happening...
 The current version of SAP will become unsupported by SAP in March 2013
 When is it happening…
 The scheduled outage is from 3am BST, Aug 10th to 3am BST, Aug 13th (72 hrs)
 What is unavailable during the outage...
 SAP and a number of associated applications – see next slide for details/impacts
 Emergency ordering process available only for Emergency Services Organisations
Down systems only – see next slides for definition and contact details.
 Our request to you for help...
 Please engage with your Partners and ask them work around the outage on that weekend
 Internal users, Partners and Distis MUST update their SAP GUI software to version 720.
 BUSINESS IMPACT : Partners WILL NOT be able to access the new SAP system and create
quotes if they do not upgrade their GUI beforehand
 Please stress the importance with your partners to review and act on the information already
sent to them about the SAP GUI upgrade.

Impacts of Outage

Licenses can be generated for orders already in the ADI system prior to the outage.
 Partners will not be able to request new IP Office order information during the outage.

 Users will be unable to activate license files for new orders (orders requested during the outage period) until after the outage is over. This action impacts
partners in ALL countries
These tools only apply to Australia, New Zealand and select pilot partners in EMEA:
 Global Product and Pricing Repository (GPPC ) : No impact
 Enterprise Configurator (EC) – For heritage Avaya quotations that are integrated with ASD, users can create quotations but will not be able to assign
End Customer details to the quote until after the outage. No impact on heritage Nortel quotations.
 Order Centre (OC) – Heritage Avaya product orders will be unavailable during the outage. No impact on heritage Nortel orders.
 Contract Visibility tool - Unavailable for heritage Avaya products during outage
 Back End Crediting Module (BECs) : Access to Credit Memo details and processing of Credit Memos will be unavailable during outage
 Avaya Solutions Designer (ASD) “Get Quote” & “Change Quote” will be unavailable outside of the United States.
