Our seminar is inserted within the WP8 context: WP8 is the training workpackage and foresees training for young researchers, to industries inside and outside the consortium and capacity building activities in the filed of traceability addressed for INCO countries .

Tomasz Dowgielewicz MSc. Eng.

Warehousing.

– The Head of Market Operations Unit – Project manager and senior specialist for logistics and e-business in the Institute of Logistics and Degree in logistics, Poznań University of Technology and Poznań Academy of Economics, scholarship in Universidade da Beira Interior – Portugal. Today specialized in traceability and standardization as well as logistics: inventory control, production management. At ILiM responsible for R&D international projects mainly concentrated on traceability. On behalf of ILiM leading such projects as CoDesNET, eMENSA, TRACEBACK, BASIM. Projects related to standardization of identification and data exchange in supply chain. Member of Polish Logistics Association (PTL). Lecturer at the Poznań School of Logistics.

Giulio Battistella- CSQA Certificazioni

Management assistant at CSQA Certificazioni S.r.l. He got a degree in Agricultural Plant Production at the University of Padova then became a Technical Assistant at Bios Srl He has wide experience if the voluntary Scheme ISO 9001, ISO 22000, Std. BRC-IFS, HACCP.

He is an auditor for the ISO 9001 scheme.

Vito Morreale- ENGINEERING

Head of the Intelligent Systems R&D Lab at ENGINEERING Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A., the biggest pure Italian IT system and service integrator. He has got a degree in Electronic Engineering, with a specialization in Computer Science, in 1999. He worked for IBM before joining to ENGINEERING in 2002. Since then he has coordinated several research projects with topics such as Artificial Intelligence applied to Software Engineering, Business Process Management, Data Mining, Service Oriented Architecture, and Human Computer Interaction and applications in the food sector, finance, supply chain management, and tourism. Since 2006 he has led the Intelligent Systems Lab which now has almost 20 people.

Andrès Silva- University of Kent

Research Assistant at Kent Business School in England. He got my master in Texas A&M University in the US. His research is in applied economics focus on the agricultural sector. He has done research on cost benefit analysis, impact of pesticide concerns on fresh produce consumption, willingness to pay for value added products and evaluation of school nutrition programs in the US.
