
The intended audience is any group of people.
This is used to persuade people not to smoke
and others to quit smoking.

This advertisement appeals most to teenagers
that can be influenced through peer pressure
and any adult.

 What is the intention of this advertisement?
 The point of view of this advertisement is a nonsmoker. They are trying to tell how bad smoking
can be.
 The intention of this is to show that smoking can
be harmful to your health and life.


What techniques are used in this advertisement?
The techniques used are:

A game of hangman played on a black
background with white writing.
ii.
The game is composed of cigarettes and cigarette
buds.
There is a stick person completely filled out before
smoking is spelled out completely showing that a
smokers life is short.

I believe the light is artificial to create a gloomy
atmosphere for a touchy subject.

What colors are in the advertisement?

The colors are black, gray, white, and orange.
These colors also allow for a gloomy
atmosphere. White and orange are used to
stand out against the background.

How does this advertisement appeal to ethos?

This advertisement appeals to ethos because
many people smoke and once they see the
effects they realize that smoking is not worth
losing their life for.

How does this advertisement appeal to logos?

This appeals to logos by the audience knowing
that death is a real consequence of smoking.
