Approximate
timeline
The Reading Committee Coordinator receives papers and assigns
them to two to three Reviewers
January
Authors contacted about status of papers and the Editor-in-Chief February
assigns positively-reviewed papers to Associate Editors
The Associate Editor works with the author to revise the paper
and sends the paper to the Head Copyeditor, who assigns it to a
copyeditor
March-April
The Copyeditor corrects the paper with assistance of the
Associate Editor and sends the corrected paper to the Head
Copyeditor
April-May
The Copyeditor sends the completed paper to the Editor-inChief, who sends the paper for layout
May-June
The laid out paper is returned to the Associate Editor, who sends
it to the author for a final check.
