Activities report from the Secondary School of Applied Arts Turnov – Czech Republic
September 2013 In the new school year 2013 - 2014, we started our second year within the European Comenius program and the project „Ceci n' pas un bijou“.
We are visiting workshop and other goldsmiths of goldsmiths‘ firms.
October 2013 students started to seek inspiration and then they designed jewellery and made some plastic models.
November 2013 jewels were realized by about 30 students from the 2nd grade. As non traditional materials were used nacre and shell. We drew inspiration for non-traditional material while visiting partners‘ schools in Belgium
For the travelling exhibition we chose twelve students who will represent our school.

January 2014 Travelling exhibition of jewels for the school year 2013/2014 was launched in Saint-Amand.
February / March 2014 22 nd PLE MEETING DIEK OF VOLOS students again started to seek inspiration and then designed jewellery and made plastic models.
The whole process was overseen by our teacher, Mr. Jiri Studnicka
Trip to France 29.3.- 5.4.
In the second half of the school trip, we visited an art school in Saint – Amand, LYCÉE PROFESSIONNEL JEAN GUÉHENNO. First we enjoyed a tour of the school, next our students answered a few questions for the school newspaper.
Then we headed for the workshops
and after that followed a football match.
Our next stop was the quarry.
April 2014 jewels were realized by 7 students from different classes and we chose 5 jewels and designs
May 2014 For the exhibition we chose two students who will represent our school in Greece
