Turn off your NEC projector by flipping the power switch on the

Locate the projector's filter, located on the back right corner of
the device. Push down on the filter cover by pushing down on the
catch of the cover until it detaches. Depending on the model, the
filter may pull up or out.
On the sponge-like filter, use a soft-bristled brush or flick the dust
with your finger into a trashcan to remove any lint and dust from
both sides of the filter.
Place the filter back into your NEC projector, plug in the device's
power cord and power on the projector. The filter will only slide
back into the projector if it is properly aligned.
Go to next slide for resetting the projector so the Clean Filter
message no longer appears.
