• Where will students access technology?
• How often will you have access to technology?
• What are your start and end dates for using the program?
• What are your student work expectations?
• How will you address students who do not access their program regularly?
• Will the Powerspeak grade become part of the students’ overall grade if this is
used supplementaly?

Potential Implementation Issues
• Technical problems due to logistics
• Students dedicate too much time to their Avatar
• Students do not receive meaningful feedback
• End dates are set up incorrectly
• Modifications to the calendar are not set up in the correct order
Student Orientation

Powerspeak and its features
• Set up student expectations before students begin work
• Post student expectations in the classroom and review
• Use of Student Goal Sheet to assist students in determining the
importance of why they are learning a world language
