off and unplugging unused lights and appliances. Shut off and unplug electronic

Teach kids how to save hot water and electricity by taking shorter showers and

Get kids to help you plant a few trees in your yard. As the trees grow, they'll
provide shade for the house, which will keep it cool and reduce your need to use
air conditioning in the summer, and they'll create a barrier against cold winds
during the winter.
