tey take care of me. If they would not take care
of me, I would not have anybody to live with
me. Thank you for taking care of me. Next, they
love me forever. I am glad they love me so
much. If they wouldn’t, I would not have
anybody to love me.
My hero is my mom. First of all, my mom s my
hero because she takes care of me and my
family and my grandpa and my grandma. Next,
she cleans my bed covers and my pillowcase.

mom saved Lexy and Kristina and my dog’s

Brook Berringer (1973-1995) was a Nebraska
quarterback. He is my hero because he never
gave up. He played with a collapsed lung. That
shows courage and never giving up. He gave
back to others. He spent many times with kids
and people in the hospital.
Many reasons I love my dog, Sophie. She
makes me exercise. She always jumps on me.
She will protect our family.
My mom is my hero because she makes me
food and my dad because he is very helpful.
Do you have a hero in your life? I do. My
heroes are the nurses in Columbus Nursing
Home for taking care of my great-grandma,
even though she died. The reason why you are
my heroes is because you took great care of
her, even though she was very sick. You
helped her through the pain and fed her great
meals.
My dad is my hero for many reasons. He cooks
most of the food. He helps with homework and
brings us to school.

My hero is my Grandpa Schaefer. He was the
best grandpa I ever had. He took me to the
park when I was little. My grandpa worked for

These are my heroes who saved and protected
my favorite people. The vet saved my dog
Xeda after she got her leg ran over. Another
hero is my Uncle Scott was in the army and is
now retired from the army. The hospital saved
my dad from heart disease. What I say to those
people is thank you for all you did to save and
to protect those people. Thank you!
