While A/B segment passengers made up 37% of the passengers three years ago,
they now make up 54% of the passengers

economic and social position in relation to others, based on income, education, and occupation SES groups typically
have 6 categories (A-highest to E-lowest). A and B groups typically represent higher income and education groups
(e.g. White collar managers or employers with min 5 employees), C1/C2 represent mid-class workers up to high-school
education, whereas D/E groups are typically rural workers or low-skill labor with lower education

Among the safest &green places in the world
 The U.S “Risk Management” magazine, one of the most prestigious magazines
of US, defined Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport as one of the five
safest places in the world.
 ISG has been recognised in the Engineering category of Popular science
magazine’s 2010 Best of “What’s New"Awards .The largest earthquake-ready
structure in the world Sabiha Gokcen has been honoured second place after Burj
Khalifa.
 ISG has been titled as Turkey’s first Barrier-Free Airport.
 ISG has earned “Green Company” title within the context of “Green Airport

national air passenger number, increase in fleet of Pegasus &THY and increase in
interest of foreign carriers in ISG.
The above forecast is based on total 20 based aircraft by 2016 by THY. According to
the latest public announcements by THY the number of based aircraft will be
significantly higher.
