What is the Cool School Challenge?
• Points will be awarded to schools for the number of
volunteer hours and funds raised for Special
Olympics Massachusetts.
• The school with the highest point total gets bragging
rights as the coolest school in Massachusetts.
• Every school that raises $2,500 or more, will earn 15%
back for their school to get sports equipment or
school supplies.
• There is a winning school in each category; Elementary
School, Middle School, High School, and College.

• The Polar Plunge was established in 1999.
•Since 1999, plungers and chickens have raised over
$3.3 million for Special Olympics Massachusetts.
•It is the largest single day Special Olympics
Massachusetts fundraiser.

What is the Jolly Jaunt?
• The Jolly Jaunt is a 5K (3.125 miles) presented by the
New Balance Foundation.
