Speaker Bios
John Park is an IBM Senior Product Manager with over 10 years of experience in Enterprise
Databases and Business Intelligence. His responsibilities have included leading Information
Management's next generation systems and offerings including the Smart Analytics and
PureData for Operational Analytics. He currently runs the IBM DB2 cloud strategy with an
emphasis of how IBM DB2 BLU acceleration plays in the stratosphere of this space. His
personal goal is to turn IBM upside down or at the very least, orthogonal to drive value with
our customers.
Huy Ly is an Information Management Technical Specialist at IBM for 15 years. He has a
keen interest in system performance, finding patterns in data, and data encryption. He is
currently looking for an opportunity to implement the next 'Frankenserver' - DB2 BLU on SSD.
Justin Racklin: IBM Worldwide Information Management Client Value Engagement (CVE)
Program Leader. 13 years experience in understanding how Enterprise IT drives value for
business. Justin developed and built the strategy for the CVE Program at IBM which now
comprises of over 100+ business consulting leads that work with clients to help develop
strategies and communicate value to their business stakeholders. The IBM Information
Management CVE Program works with the top companies in every sector and every
continent. The program strives to take what it learns, develop them into best practices that
can be used at other organizations to help them drive their own strategies.
