Born in Andover, Hampshire; 12th October 1993

Katie met Daniel Lynch (martial arts enthusiast) over Facebook

They first met up in Berkshire, being pleased with the way things had
turned out

After 2 weeks, Katie and Daniel booked a hotel, for after their meal
•
In the hotel room, she was raped, beaten and stabbed in the arm
•
Lynch apologized, and persuaded Katie to go to an internet café, to read
an email he’d sent her.
•
Sylvestre approached Katie, immediately throwing Sulphuric Acid over her
face
•
Katie was treated at Chelsea and Westminster hospital.
•
The removal of Katie’s skin, and replacement, was the first ever to be
carried out in 1 single operation.
•
In 2009 Katie revealed herself to increase awareness
•
She also released a best-selling autobiography, has a column, but mainly
works at her charity, Katie Piper Foundation
