• VERITAS 7 Resting Interpretation Algorithm
– Mortara Algorithm for Adult and Pediatric interpretation, from 0 days
of age
– VERITAS in its latest revision, introduces several improvements, a better
P-wave detection, enhanced Pacemaker analysis
– Added STEMI message (*** ACUTE MI ***) statement

• BEST 10
– Acquiring an ECG on non-cooperating patients is a challenge. BEST 10
has been thought to help speeding up this process. The ELI 280
incorporates a buffer that is used by the BEST 10 to find the best and
noise free 10 seconds of ECG data. Perfect on pediatric patients, it helps
saving time in the daily routine. Unique in this class of cardiographs!

• Lead Reversal
– Lead placement is becoming a serious issue, important to the point that
it can lead to misdiagnosis: the technician may not realize the issue, the
ECG is sent to the Cardiologist and the record may be read improperly.
– In some facilities more than 5% of all acquired ECGs are affected by
lead reversal.

• USB direct connect
– RS 232 ports disappeared from PCs and a more modern direct connectivity
allows an easier integration with today’s PCs and Operating Systems
– Simply connect the ELI x50c to a PC and drag and drop records into ELI LINK
• Transmission to USB Memory stick
– An alternative way for users that do now want to use the cable
– Plug a memory stick in the Host USB port and SYNC the unit: records will be
“transmitted” to the memory stick.
• PDF generated via ELI LINK 3.10 or later
– The USB transmission or file transfer can be perfectly integrated with the
ELI LINK.
– With ELI LINK and its import folder, the user can generate PDF files (and
other formats) automatically

sure all the cardiographs are time-synchronized with the Hospital
