1925. Albert Einstein was one of its founders.

Nearly 40% of all civilian scientific research in Israel is
conducted at the Hebrew University. About 3,800 research
projects are in progress at the University, and 1,500 new

VisFacet is a context-sensitive facet included in HUfind
•
A visualization module developed for VuFind (the next-generation open-source interface).
•
The module is based on the extraction of the library’s MARC records and visualizing the
fields 6## including topics, geographical areas and era.
•
This module retrieves and represents graphically the collection of facets in a word-cloud
form, as a way to enhance search engine results page.
•
The module is interactive and configurable; it allows users to narrow or broaden their
search result in one single click.
