Today Cyprus is a modern country that combines
European culture with ancient enchantment. With over
330 days of sunshine a year, Cyprus epitomizes the ideal
weather of the region, with something to offer every
month of the year.
Cyprus packs a remarkable array of sights and attractions
into such a small space: museums and archaeological sites,
throbbing beach resorts, medieval fortresses, age-old
temples and Cool Mountain. Its remarkably rich legacy in
archaeological treasures and developed tourism
infrastructure make Cyprus one of the most attractive
meeting places of the world.
Cyprus is a full EU member, a member of the United Nations,
the Council of Europe and the British Commonwealth, using
the Euro (€) as the official currency.
English is the second most spoken language, with French
and German following. With extensive airline connections,
professional and mature hospitality industry, extensive
conference facilities and complete support, Cyprus offers a
secure environment for all.
