No-Show Policy
Students who do not appear for the first session of any class for which
they are registered will be dropped from the roster.
Exceptions can be made by contacting instructor in advance.
If dropped from all classes as a result of no show, the $100 tuition deposit
is forfeited.
Withdrawal Procedure
Students may indicate their request to officially withdraw from all
semester courses using PRISM.
Policies
It is highly recommended that students meet with a Student Services
advisor prior to withdrawing.
Non-attendance in all registered courses does not constitute official
withdrawal from the university.

FERPA
Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act
FERPA is a federal law that protects the privacy of student
educational records.
Rights afforded parents throughout K-12 education are
transferred to the student upon entry into a postsecondary institution.

FERPA gives students the right to . . .
Inspect and review education records
Request a change in education records in the case of
inaccurate or misleading information
Consent to the disclosure of education records to
others.
FERPA allows the disclosure of “directory
information” without students’ consent.
Policies
“Directory Information” includes a student’s name,
address, telephone number, date of birth, honors &
awards, and dates of attendance.
Sexual Assault & Harassment
Sexual assault & harassment are
prohibited and illegal.
UWFox has internal policies for dealing with such
acts.
Students are encouraged to report any incidents of
sexual assault and/or harassment to Student Services.
