Research Says Learning Is Important To ERP Success
 Training is consistently an under-budgeted item and is often the first
item cut in the budget … each hour of effective training is worth
five hours to the organization because well-trained users (1) reach
the required skill level in less than a quarter of the time, (2) require
less assistance from peers and help desks, and (3) spend less time
correcting errors (Gartner, Slater, Aldrich, 2000).
 Research shows learning makes significant impact on core software
business results:
– Trained customers are 60% more successful
in achieving their expected business benefits.
– Trained customers use 20% more product
features

How you see us - Survey results 2008
 What you’ve said
– 81% of respondents were aware we existed .. We aren’t a secret
anymore!
– But less than half (48%) had used Lawson Learning post
implementation
– 54% rated us as “good – excellent”
– But 29% rated us as average
– Only 43% of you wanted training in version 7.1
– Finance management, supply chain planning, and customer sales
planning were the top topics
– You strongly favor face to face instructor led training, but virtual
training and self paced were acceptable when required.
Lawson Learning … simply smarter!
