NLR Backbone Contribution
• • • • Access to 3 backbones • PacketNet, FrameNet and CWave • Up to 30 Gbps of bandwidth Mechanisms to control Layer2 VLANs • Use of NLR’s Sherpa service to provision VLANs across FrameNet - both static and dynamic VLANs • Dedicated block of GENI specific VLAN IDs Regional Access • Through existing Layer2 and Layer3 RON infrastructure • Some regional costs may apply • Available today through at least 16 RONs Available to all GENI funded projects.

• Test performance between NLR nodes or between end sites and NLR Nodes.
