This course deals with forces of nature and motion, electricity and magnetism, work
and machines, energy and thermodynamics, The Physics of The Very Large- The Universe, and
describes the earth including the fundamental principles and laws of Geology.
It is designed to provide information on the properties, composition, external and
internal structures, and parts of the Earth. It is concerned with constituents, forms and changes in
the lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere of the Earth.
The course also focuses on the basic concepts and knowledge of ecology. This will also
include the discussion of the involvement of human being in the conservation of his environment,
since it will entail on the relationship of every organism to each other as well as to their
environment. Much emphasis will be given on the different current environmental issues and
problems and the possible solution to address them. Different laws and provisions regarding
environmental conservation will also be discussed.

Algebra with Statistics
This course covers real number system, algebraic and rational
expression, linear equations, exponents and radicals, quadratic
equations inequalities and word problems.
It presents basic statistical concepts and essentials in data
analysis. Topics for discussion include collection, presentation and
analysis of empirical data with emphasis on the applications of
descriptive statistics to real-life situations.
Descriptive numerical measures such as measures of central
tendency, measures of position, and measures of variation will be
discussed through problem solving. It also introduces the normal
distribution, simple correlation and linear regression which are

student to create and formulate movements in different forms of physical
exercise. Basic nutrition and stress management is also describe in this subject

Is a learning program that incorporates both theoretical
learning and practical experience, leading to the development
of the youth in all aspect of human life; physical, mental, social,
spiritual, cultural and political dimension integrating the
concept of civic education, democracy and good citizenship
values as enshrined in the Preamble of the 1987 Constitution
provided in the NSTP Act of 2001. It aimed at giving relevant
skills to Senior High School students’ experiential learning as
part of the academic requirement.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to enhance the knowledge,
desirable attitudes and skills of automotive service technician
in accordance with industry standards. It covers specialized
competencies such as; test and service automotive batteries,
service ignition system, install and repair wiring/lighting
system, repair wiper and washers, dismantle and assemble
engine-sub assemblies, maintain under chassis components
and perform shop maintenance. It also includes competencies
in workplace communication, teamwork, safety, use of hand
tools, and housekeeping.

blueprint, set up work area equipment and accessories,
prepare weld joints deposit weld beads, prepare materials
and tools, and carbon steel plates in all.

This also includes common competencies necessary in
carrying out the job. These are mensuration and calculation,
use of handtools, OHS practices and 5’s, technical drawing,
quality standards, computer operations, electrical wire
termination and electronic circuits connection.

countries like the Philippines.

specifically inclined with the study of events in
helping the movement of our economic stability

their potentials in the building of our economic
structure.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course discusses the basic concepts of food processing and
its function, the nature of food, its composition and chemical
reaction as applied to food preservation. It focuses on factors
leading to the success of food preservation from pre-processing
to post-processing operations.
The course also deals with the different type of food
preservation, its actual application and procedures, and other
factors such as food additives and preservatives, as well as
safety and proper food handling and packaging which are
essential to food preservation.

Is an essential course in understanding nutritional

market place, with an emphasis on nutrition content,
the development of chronic disease and food safety.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The course studies human forms, their contour
proportion and mood. The aim is to strengthen the
student’s mind and hand coordination. It includes
instructor demos on the relationship between skeletal
and muscular structure as portrayed in still and
animated poses of a subject.

FREEHAND DRAWING
This course teaches the fundamentals drawing including
materials, methods, form and composition. Students
work on a variety of paper sizes and graphite, ink, and
charcoal. Initial exercises will concentrate on still life and

This course covers the basic elements and principles of
two dimensional design and basic color theory explored

experience with the variety of media, develop skills in
observation and technique, and encourage personal
involvement in resolving a visual idea.
COURSE TITLE: CREATIVE WRITING AND DRAMA
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is intended to provide students with an opportunity to build
and improve creative writing and drama skills. Content includes selfreflection, creative discipline and mechanical improvement while writing
and exploring poetry prose and literary non-fiction. The creative writing
class will be a series of writing workshops. Students will succeed in this
class if they are willing to write constantly, edit works, and cooperate
with others in writing groups. The drama class; the students will be
exposed to the real world of drama and theater and will undergo various
acting workshop and actual play production. It requires a large of body
of skills and understandings, and a special kind of relationship with the
others involved in the production.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course introduces the students to various aspects of film production
and creation. In an attempt to better understand our viewing
experiences, we will be looking at both technical and aesthetic elements.
Some of the areas to be investigated include story creation, visual
imagery, screenwriting, direction, mise-en-scene, sound editing and
ideology. Throughout the course, several films will be viewed in order to
develop an awareness of and vocabulary for discussing the artistic
aspects of films.

National Youth Transformation in the Public Service requires

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Adverse impacts to our environment affect the well-being of humans and
other living organism, hence the subject covers the environmental
situation of our country as to forestry/wildlife sector, air, quality, water
quality, solid waste, toxic chemicals and hazardous waste as well its
effect on climate change. An understanding of the natural environmental
systems, physical and social causes of environmental problems and
strategies to mitigate or manage theses issues will be discussed.
Likewise, best practices, compliance to various laws and ordinances,
effort on public awareness and environmental education as well as
challenges are also included.

Peace Administration requires each student to gain
an overview about the principles and core values of
understanding peace and conflict and how to
promote an advocacy for peace in their daily lives.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course orients the student in the history and
development of pharmacy as a profession. Further,
it deals with the basic concepts and principles
underlying pharmacy as an applied science and a
field of professional practice. It includes a discussion
of the different areas and opportunities in
pharmacy practice.
COURSE TITLE: HEALTH CARE SERVICES
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Prologue to Radiologic Technology education and practice which will
provide an understanding on the scope, outputs, and practices of
radiological sciences in general and Radiologic Technology in particular. It
is also deals with various radiological nomenclatures and medical
abbreviations their usage as applied to the clinical settings, specific
systems, disease processes, and injuries. Discussions include principal
medical root word, terms referring to some general aspects of the
practice of medicine and its allied profession, medical terms referring to
certain general pathological processes, infective diseases, diseases of
various systems of the body, obstetric terms, and terms related to
medical instruments and equipment. In addition, history of medicine as
well as the discovery of x-ray will also be tackle.
