 Alarum: trumpet/drum call to arms
 Battle: unit or part of army
 Battles: armed forces drawn up for
fighting
 Charges: troops
 Cohort: army division

 Legion: 3000-6000 soldiers of 10 cohorts
 Parley: conference between opposing forces
