media reports on intercultural issues, discrimination…

3 Media Encounter on intercultural issues and
discrimination already organised in:
- Seville, Spain, Apr. 09 at European Level,
- Bari, Italy, Dec. 09, at Italian / European Level,
- Odessa, Ukraine, May 10 at National Level.
Next steps
1 at Regional level involving ethnic minority & diversity media
professionals in Novi Sad, Serbia, Sept.10
1 at European level involving more than 100 media professionals
(mainstream and ethnic minority & diversity media ) in Istanbul, Nov. 2010
Publication of a brochure on the experience gained from these Media
Encounters for media coverage on intercultural issues and discrimination,
including their methodological aspects

Facilitating – at European level – encounters between media industry actors (editors,
broadcasters, journalists, audiovisual regulatory authorities and press self-regulatory bodies).
Consulting these actors on their editorial and recruitment policies.
Producing a review of the current situation as well as proposals for action with and for media
industry actors.
