RHS Grading System
No Mark (NM) – Issued at Progress Report
No Credit (NC) – Issued for Semester Grade
Semester grade is the final grade on the
official transcript. If a student earns a NC in
a course required for graduation, the course
must be repeated in summer school/night
school in order to get back on track.
Summer School
Credit Recovery for courses needed to fulfill
graduation requirements.
Summer school registration forms will be
available in April.
Location alternates between RHS & WHS.
Two sessions (am/pm) – each session is one
semester credit per class.
Four weeks (June 15th - July 9th)
Night School is available beginning Junior year.

Read Course Descriptions thoroughly.
Check pre-requisites for all courses.
Talk to teachers to gather input and
recommendations.

Distribute & Review Transcripts
Discuss registration to select courses for sophomore year via
Naviance. Students will use 6 year plan for reference.
Week of March 23rd – March 27th
Registration for 9th graders (Students released from
Language Arts classes to meet with Counselor)
Students MUST bring printed Naviance course
planning page, with parent signature and 2 elective
alternates
10th Grade Classroom Visits
Week of February 9th -12th
Review Transcript & Graduation Petition
Sophomore Counseling Form will include Naviance instructions.
Students will need to log onto Naviance to create their course
planner. Course planners need to be printed and signed by a
parent. Students will write 2 additional elective alternates on their
course planner.
Week of March 16th – 20th
Registration for 10th graders (Students released from classes
to meet with Counselor)
Students MUST bring printed Naviance course planning
page, with parent signature and 2 elective alternates.

Major changes in the format of the SAT will be implemented in
the spring of 2016. The PSAT will reflect these changes
beginning in the fall of 2015. Below is a recap of the biggest

Use Career Cluster Finder to discover groups of
related careers suited to your personality and
interests.
Use Super Match to search for colleges based on
hundreds of criteria.

Use “Favorite Careers” and “Colleges I’m Thinking
About” lists to stay organized and keep your
teachers and counselors aware of your interests.
