What is the AUC?
• AUC - Apple University Consortium
• 1984 - Apple entered into a partnership
with 9 Australian universities to form the
AUC (Australia)
• Now - 32 Australian University
Members
5 Associate Members and 1
International Member (India)

• Major motivating factors:
• Departments, staff & students could
obtain Apple technology at reduced
prices
• Enable development of innovative
solutions using Macs

• Governed by member Universities
• Operates its own programs on its own
behalf

• Subsidised training courses for
technical staff in Apple tech
• Generally 2-4 days in length in
major capital cities
• 4 subsidised places each year,
includes travel and accommodation
