SGFW Terms of Reference:
1. Assess the current state of standardization in Cloud
Computing and related technologies
within JTC 1 and in other SDOs and consortia beginning with
document JTC 1 N 9687
2. Provide a report of activities and recommendations to SC
38 on future work that could be
undertaken by SC38 including:
a. Possible New Work Item Proposals (NPs)
b. Possible new and modified organizational structures for
effectively progressing new
work arising out of 2(a) as well as ongoing work.
3. The SGFW will report its results at the first 2014 Plenary
meeting of SC 38.
4. The first meeting of the SGFW will be an electronic
meeting to be held on 29 October, 2013
at 1300 – 1500 UTC.
