Knowledge that works - knowledge that challenges’ is also key in international activities.
 We work with partners all over the world and engage in a wide range of international activitiesfrom student and staff exchanges, global programmes, internships, international partnerships
to system export, research and curriculum development and capacity building.
 Currently we have about 250 partners in Scandinavia, EU, Africa, Australia, Asia&China,
Canada and USA.
 Several of the schools are involved in major projects funded by the EU as well as projects
funded by Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health and Prevention. These activities are
based on experience and expertise generated through coorporation with educational partners
all over the world.
 We provide a broad range of opportunities for international students interested in achieving
excellence within different educational areas of the welfare state professions.
 The Schools offer a variety of modules in English language for exchange students from
theoretical studies, internships, international workshops seminars ect.

Generally, admission requires qualifications comparable to an upper secondary
school leaving certificate (generally 12-13 years of education) as well as a good

Theoretical courses:
• Elective course in English; 6 weeks, September and February: ”Global health”
and “Powerty, Women and Children”
• Module 5 “Interprofessional coorperation in Health work” 10 weeks
• Module 6 “Chronically ill patients in their own homes” 2 weeks theory + 8
week clinical placement I community health care.
• Module 10 Acute and Critically ill; 10 weeks academic course, from February.

International exchange students to MUC,
Faculty of Health Care and Rehabilitation
During studies in the clinical area, exchange students are offered the course:
”Intercultural Health Care and Welfare” 1 day every other week together with all
international students in the health care professions. The students get to discuss
and work together with senior lecturers.
The students:
 Identify different perceptions of health, health problems and diseases in other
cultures
 Use theoretical knowledge to reflect upon own profession
 Present and compare own health care system to the Danish welfare system
 Present and analyze own curriculum to related programs in Denmark
 The course in very popular and the students develop an international network!
