Course Objectives
a- Understanding the origin of electrical conductivity,
based on a brief knowledge of the crystal structure of
different materials, modified Bohr structure of the
atomic orbital, electronic band theory, and chemical
bonding between atoms and molecules.
b- Apply this knowledge to understand the effect of
different physical parameter on electrical conductivity,
such as the application of electric field, pressure,
temperature, and etc…
C- Prepare students to study applications, specially
electrical engineering subjects
