Things to know before you start:
 Time-out: 15 minutes of inactivity using the
CTC Online website
 Passwords: defaults are temporary and
unsecure
 If you have failed to authenticate twice have
your AD contact [email protected] with
your full name and organization name
 Six month term

Accessing the System: Pop-up
Blockers

The CTC Online system provides some information in the
form of pop-up windows. It is advisable to make pop-up
windows to the CTC Online specific webpage an
exception instead of turning them off.
 Pop-up blocked messages may appear on the top or
at the bottom of the window
 Click the warning message and select “Always Allow
Pop-ups from This Site.”
 Some Agency or Institution’s do not authorize the
users to make this change. Technical assistance will
be required to add https://educator.ctc.ca.gov to the
list of always allowed Pop-up sites.
