A Typical Day

Start your day with breakfast in your hotel

Enjoy a morning activity such as city sightseeing Lunch. Your group may choose to take a tour manager’s suggestion for the best crepes/pizza in town or browse a local market and picnic in the park Use an ACIS Walking Tour to explore a museum or sight

Free time to shop for souvenirs, swim or relax in a town square Back at hotel for debriefing/briefing and to freshen up

Travel south to Provence on the high-speed TGV train- try to get a window seat to enjoy the passing scenery.

Get ready to see sights in the Old Town, Eze, and glamorous Monaco- home to the rich and famous!

The Rules

• This is not school sponsored, this is a Layson trip. • Punctuality is key to making this trip work!

• Alcohol, weapons, drugs, sexual misconduct will result in ACIS dismissing you from the group and a return trip home at the parents’/guardians’ expense!

• Guidelines for restaurants, hotels, trains, busses, culture, language, free time, etc… will be discussed later

2. In the case that over 44 students wish to attend, the procedure for selection is as follows: a) All applicants will be assigned a number*** b) A lottery will be performed on Wednesday, March 31 st with me, Mr. Lietz, the president of the Student Senate and the president of the Student Advisor Board present.

c) A list will be posted of the students selected by COB on Wednesday, March 31 st . At this time all registration forms and checks will mailed to ACIS in order to reserve the trip.

d) Upon receipt, ACIS will send a confirmation/welcome notification that will include a website where you can select payment and insurance options.

e) Registration forms and checks of students not selected will be returned to those students on Thursday, April 1 st .
