THE EMERGING LEADER
NEGATIVE EXAMPLES OF LEADERSHIP
Lucifer’s Rebellion (Eze 28:15-17) Took 1/3 of angels with
him. (Isa 14:12-14, Jude 1:6)
Korah, Datha and Abiram (Num 16:2-3) They exist in
churches today: Being divided over doctrine, offenses.
Balaam has authority and power with God, but heart was
not circumsized(Num 31:16) – corrupted leadership
THE EMERGING LEADER
POSITIVE EXAMPLES OF LEADERSHIP
Daniel (Dan 1:8) chose to be set apart, not to be defiled.
He desired the intimacy with God.
because they chose to be set apart God gave them
knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and
Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams
(Daniel 1:17)
Dan 2: - God gave Daniel the wisdom to be able to
interpret the dream for the king.
Deborah (Judges 4:2-5) rallied a nation to victory
Hannah (1 Sam 1:5-6, 11, 13-14, ) Emerging leadership
bears a cost. For a samuel to come forth, it cost Hannah
much.
THE EMERGING LEADER

THE EMERGING LEADER
IMPORTANCE OF ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY

transgressions of the people.
The emerging leader - one who will identify with the sin of
the people, accepting responsibility as the true priest and
going before God on behalf of the people.

the blame.
Rev 12:10 – The enemy is the fault finder/accuser
Luke 22:42 – Jesus bearing sin for us. Not my will but
thine be done.
THE EMERGING LEADER
THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS
Matt 18:21-22 – To forgive seventy times seven
Dan 9:2Jer 24:6-7 – A heart that knows God’s heart.
Dan 9:20-23 – Daniel assumes responsibility and comes
before God and he gets a revelation from God
Dan 9:24-27 – 70 weeks to make an end to sin.
7 weeks – command for restoration
62 weeks – to the time where Christ died on the cross.
1 week – Anti Christ, Tribulations
If we do not have the ability to forgive, it stifles the hand
of God.
