organizations?
• Nonprofit organizations are
organizations that serve a
societal or group mission,
while not pursuing selfinterest or profit.
• Nonprofit organizations are
tax-exempt and may receive
tax-deductible contributions.

Advantages
• Nonprofit internships have

– Unpaid internships generally provide
flexible hours
• Unpaid interns can work more hours if
they want because, in general,
organizations will not pay paid workers
overtime if they want to work more
