When are they open? The Library at DRI is situated between the South Ward Block and the Endoscopy Department, opposite the Education Centre. The Library at Bassetlaw is situated upstairs in the Education Centre Opening Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm 24/7 access is also available You must be a registered library user Knowledge, Library & Information Services for Health Is there space to study? • Study space is available in both Libraries • At DRI, the Leisure Library offers recreational library facilities plus additional group study space and PCs in a more relaxed environment Knowledge, Library & Information Services for Health Do you offer access to PCs and Wi-Fi ? • 10 PCs available in the Library & Learning Resource Centre at DRI 5 PCs at Bassetlaw • To guarantee availability, can pre-book • Wi-Fi is available in both libraries Knowledge, Library & Information Services for Health How many books may I borrow? How long may I keep them? • 8 (Students 4) - for 3 weeks • You may renew an item up to three times, provided that no-one else has requested it. • Renew by email, telephone or in person Knowledge, Library & Information Services for Health How do I access the books, journals and databases I need? • Library catalogue http://dab.nhslibraries.com – stock held at DRI and Bassetlaw • Request and document supply service also available • NICE Evidence www.evidence.nhs.uk – wide range of electronic resources • Need to use OpenAthens username and password • An OpenAthens account gives you access to resources purchased locally and regionally as well as those provided generally by the NHS.
